Habits Are Hard To Change

I have not been doing so good with my posting schedule so far this year.  I’ve been very busy with projects (sites) and getting one ready to get going.  Need to stick to my plan though.

Good news.  My http://AlternativeEnergyRadio.com site is set up and ready to get going.  Plans are to do interviews of people who HAVE DONE,  or ARE WORKING ON, sustainable projects, ones that are really working.  Like this guy in France, who makes a compost pile of wood chips.  A BIG pile, and inside has a “batch digester” with older wood chips in it to make methane gas.  Wraps water pipe around it to capture heat from the inside of the pile, which also heats the digester.  The water is heated up to about 140 degrees F.  Hot water for a 5 bedroom house.  Methane gas from the digester, for the oven and stove, and transportation.

It works for about 18 months.  Then he has great compost for his farm.  I’ll be posting the article I’ve found on it.

I read about this years ago and just recently found it again.  He wrote a book on it, but it doesn’t seem available.  I’m going to try and tack it down and make it available to those who want it.

This is just one example.  The idea is to find all that I can, and help them to get the word out.  Maybe you know of some.  Let me know who they are.  The radio show will be a call in show.  Interview them via phone, and open it up to listeners for questions.

Another one I have in mind is David Blume.  He is an expert on making ethanol alcohol.  He wrote a book called, “Alcohol Can Be A Gas!”

One last thing for tonight.  A motivational statement, that inspires me.

That’s it for today.  Take care and God Bless,
